If you are one who likes to explore the Bible on your own this version is perfect for you. It offers prompts to help you engage in The Word. I love the artwork especially and how it's used in relationship to passages in the Bible. It's not a study Bible, but more of a Bible that uses the different prompts to help you find deeper meaning and the messages in the passages. The pages are a nice thickness, The font is easy to read. The Bible lays flat when open and feels nice in your hands. There is ample space in the back for notes, several pages, lined. Not all pages have room for journaling as the prompts are there, but there's still quite a bit. There are nice maps in the back, thicker pages, full color, large enough to readable and useful. I have a few Bibles, but this one is different from any of them and quickly becoming a favorite. (I'm not very good with reviews, but I hope this helps.)

This Bible is for beautiful first of all. The golden pages, the textured top. I still keep it in the original box after use to preserve it. It’s full of beautiful art and imagery. If you’re a highlighter like I am, use earthy toned highlighters. Other colors are too much of sudden contrast.

This is a beautiful Bible. I "ummed and aaahed" over buying it (family finances are very tight), but I needed a treat thanks to lockdown, and I'm so glad I did! I absolutely love it. The prompts are fabulous, and really help you to go deeper into the Word of God. I love journalling, so I am looking forward to these. Some of the artwork I love, some not so much, but they all make you think about the scriptures you are reading. I love being helped and reminded to pray through scripture. There is so much to love about this Bible, I would thoroughly recommend it. And its not too heavy, the cover feels nice and the comfort print is just a delight to read. I am blessed.
