Gemma Masson

I am currently Assistant Editor of the Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations Journal based at the University of Birmingham, UK. I have diverse research interests including Ottoman History, Early Modern History, Imperial and Global History, History in Popular Culture, Dracula History, Supernatural History/Mythology/Folklore and Death. I also enjoy learning languages to support my historical study. My love of history comes from a love of stories and I always wanted to know the truth behind any novel I read or film I saw. If you are going to love stories, history is the one that just keeps going! There is always more to learn about which makes it perfect in my eyes!
