I haven't read much but this seems to be a good overview of Japanese art. It's written in a pretty accessible fashion, and I look forward to reading more. Good choice for anyone wanting to explore the art of Japan.

This book is in black and white. It seems like an art book would be nicer in color.

Dimensions allow everyday use. It's a good book for basic and middle advanced questions about Japan's art. Good to have it

I generally use this as a source book for ancient clay, metal, and oil works. But the entirety of this book has taught me much more than I intended. If you love the culture, GET THIS BOOK!

4.0 out of 5 stars notevole libro ma...
