- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020As an artist who once dabbled in oils, I gained a fresh appreciation of the creative process of the artist described so well by the author of "St. Anthony's Fire". Art history books never miss this unique style of Bosch. So by reading this book I learned new aspects of Bosch's process. Scott Skipper uses dialogue like a master to move Bosch in and out of adventure, near death, and romance. A fast but very satisfying read.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2020The fictional story of Bosch is very creative and all of the clues fall into place nicely. Skipper spins a great story with detailed characters, beautifully described settings, and an apparently extensive knowledge of the Dutch masters in art. It was a very fun read and left me wanting to read more - always a good place to end a story.
