The Diodotids were a Greco-Bactrian dynasty of kings, composed of the two rulers Diodotos I and his son Diodotos II. The dynasty lasted between c. 250 BCE and c. 230 BCE, which was very short but significant because Diodotos I was the first Greco-Bactrian king. The numismatic emblem of this dynasty is the Thundering Zeus.

Diodotos was first the Seleucid satrap of Bactria, but soon rebelled against the Seleucid ruler Antiochos II, taking advantage of the war between the Seleucid and Ptolemaic empires. He fought against the Seleucids and the Parni/Parthians, but his son allied with the latter. The dynasty ended with the overthrow of Diodotos II by Euthydemos who founded his own Euthydemid dynasty.
