Granite Shabti of Taharqo from Nuri, Sudan, c. 664 BCE.
Between 747 and 656 BCE, there was a power shift in Egypt and Kush, and the Kushites ruled both, adopting Egyptian religion and Egyptian burial practices.

This image was taken at the National Museum of Australia in the British Museum's traveling exhibition 'A History of the World in 100 (and 1) Objects'.
