Oxborough Dirk
The "Oxborough dirk" is one of only six giant dirks found across Europe. Because of its unwieldy size, the oversized copper alloy sword was likely intended for symbolic or ceremonial purposes, rather than combat.
Found near Oxborough in Norfolk, England. c. 1450-1300 BCE. Plougrescant-Ommerschans type. Length: 70.9 centimetres (27.9 in). Weight: 2.37 kg (5.2 lb). The British Museum, London.
