Lekythos of Two Women Sharing a Mantle — View Full-Size Image

This black-figure lekythos (oil flask) depicting two women sharing a cloak and gazing at each other. The imagery carries an erotic component, due to the intensity of the gaze between the two figures, and the fact that they share one cloak. Attributed to the Pharos Painter, c. 550 BCE.
