Statue of Julian of Norwich
Julian Norwich (1342-1416) lived as a Christian mystic and anchoress. Due to her role as an anchoress, little is known about Julian’s life. During her life she did compose different literary works, one being 'Revelations of Divine Love' which discusses human salvation and God’s love. Despite little being known about her life, Julian’s works have greatly contributed to that of Christian contemplative tradition.
