Cartonnage, painted, and gilded mummy mask of Pasyg (or Pa-remet-syg; Greek, Promsiko). The mask of Pa-remet-syg is the only one from Meir which mentions the name of the deceased, on the back, in a demotic script. It also mentions the name of his father Pshentahe in Egyptian. The script also states the funeral date; on the 25th of Choiak and on the morning of the 26th of Choiak. From Meir, Asyut, Egypt. Early Roman period, 1st century CE. It is on display at the Neues Museum, Berlin, Germany.
