Castor & Pollux
Castor & Pollux (the Dioscuri) were the twin sons of Leda. Pollux was fathered by Zeus and Castor by King Tyndareus of Sparta. They were legendary heroes in Greek and Roman mythology who were members of the Argonauts. Jupiter transformed them into the constellation Gemini so that they could share Pollux’s immortality.
