Small Lamassu, Nimrud — This small limestone lamassu (which is one of a pair) was found in the city of Nimrud (ancient Kalhu), Iraq. Neo-Assyrian period, 911-612 BCE. On display at the Iraq Museum in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq.
