Vase painting (on a white-ground wine pitcher) depicting a young woman spinning wool from a distaff, twisting a thread between the fingers of her right hand. Found in Locri, created in Attica c. 490-470 BCE. On the (viewer's) right, an inscription reads: ΗΕΠΑΙΣΚΑΛΕ (ή παΐς καλή, "the beautiful girl").
