Stucco on linen mummy mask of a woman dating to the early Roman period, 1st century CE. She wears bracelets in the form of snakes, elegant Roman dress, jewelry, and hair. Her complexion is white (unlike the yellow complexion of Egyptians). The black curly hair was imitated from dyed flax. From Meir, Asyut Governorate, Egypt. It is on display at the Neues Museum, Berlin, Germany.
