This fragment was part of a vessel made of solid greenstone. The surviving segment shows a multitude of exotic animals and birds in addition to a hero, flanked by two animals (lions?), standing before a temple facade. Probably, this scene represents a Sumerian myth. From Khafajah (ancient Tutub), Diyala, Iraq. Early Dynastic period, 2600-2400 BCE. On display at the Iraq Museum in Baghdad.
