Warwick Castle was originally built by William the Conqueror (c. 1027-1087 CE) in 1068 CE. The castle was the stronghold of Richard Neville, the Earl of Warwick (l. 1428 – 1471 CE) during the Wars of the Roses (1455 - 1487 CE).

In Warwickshire, England.
