The Ceide Fields Interpretative Centre was opened in 1993 CE and received the Europa Nostra Diploma of Merit in 1997 CE. This impressive pyramid-shaped building is a 60 ft high, multi-award-winning centre, which explains the background and the archaeology of the Ceide Fields, near Ballycastle, Co. Mayo, Ireland.
