The Igel Column is a multi-storey Roman sandstone funerary monument located on the left bank of the Moselle some eight kilometres south of Trier. It was erected around 250 CE by two wealthy cloth merchants of Celtic origin, Secundinius Aventinus and Secundinius Securus, who were brothers.
