Left: Portrait of Massachusetts Bay Colony Governor John Winthrop (l. c. 1588-1649 CE). It was held in the Winthrop family until the 19th century CE when it was donated to the American Antiquarian Society.
Unknown author; when donated to the AAS, it was thought to be by a follower of Anthony van Dyck.
Right: Statue of Anne Hutchinson (l. 1591-1643 CE), religious visionary and champion of religious freedom, and her daughter, by Cyrus Dallin, unveiled in 1915 CE, dedicated in 1922 CE.
