A photorealistic representation of Julius Caesar (100-44 BCE) as he may have appeared in life. This reconstruction is based on archaeological evidence including bust, coinage, and descriptions of Julius Caesar in historical accounts. Contemporary and near-contemporary depictions of Caesar, such as the Tusculum Portrait (50-40 BCE) and Chiaramonti Portrait (30-20 BCE), were given particular weight. Made using Photoshop and Artbreeder, an AI neural network.
