Digital reconstruction of Raigad Fort in Maharashtra, India, as it may have appeared after being expanded by Shivaji (1630–1680 CE) in the 17th Century CE. The British East India bombarded the castle with cannon fire in 1818 CE, considering it a stronghold for pirates. After this, it fell into ruin and disrepair.
