Reconstruction of Takeda Castle Download Full Size Image

Digital reconstruction of Takeda Castle in Asago, Japan as it may have appeared when it was constructed in the 15th Century CE. The castle was captured by Hideyoshi Toyotomi (1537–1598 CE), and then passed to his younger brother after his death. The last ruler of the castle was Akamatsu Hirohide who committed suicide in 1600 CE, after which the castle fell into disrepair.
