The 1904 Uspensky Cathedral Egg by Peter Carl Fabergé (1846-1920). The egg was given by Tsar Nicholas II (r. 1894-1917) to his wife Alexandra Feodorovna. It shows the cupola of the Uspensky Cathedral with surrounding Kremlin towers in Moscow. The egg is made of gold with opalescent white and green enamel while the base is onyx. There is no surprise inside the egg, instead, the base contains a music box, which plays two Easter hymns. It measures 36.8 cm (14.5 in) in height.
