A map illustrating the far-reaching voyages and settlements of the Vikings during the 8th to 11th centuries, spanning much of Europe, the North Atlantic, and parts of North America. Viking explorers and traders traveled as far west as Newfoundland in modern-day Canada, establishing temporary settlements like Vinland and as far east as Constantinople and the Caspian Sea, engaging in trade, raiding, and diplomacy. They also explored and settled in places like Iceland, Greenland, Britain, Ireland, and France and ventured deep into Russia via river systems. Their exploration had lasting impacts on these regions' cultures and history.
