A c. 1876 painting in oils, The Pool of Jas de Bouffan, by Paul Cézanne (1839-1906), the French post-impressionist artist. Jas de Bouffan was the Cézanne family estate located near Aix-en-Provence in southern France. The artist painted many views of it and its grounds. (Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg)
