A c. 1875 oil on canvas painting, Lady at her Toilet, by Berthe Morisot (1841-95), the French impressionist painter. The pale and pastel-like colours of the palette are typical of Morisot's style. This work was shown at the Fifth Impressionist Exhibition in Paris in 1880. (Art Institute of Chicago)
