An 1886 oil on canvas painting, Children with a Bowl, by Berthe Morisot (1841-95), the French impressionist painter. An excellent example of the artist's sketch-like technique using paints, something that critics considered as making the work "unfinished". (Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris)
