An 1888 oil on canvas group picture, The Daughters of Catulle Mendès (aka Young Girls at the Piano), by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) the French impressionist painter. The three girls are Huguette (1871-1964), Claudine (1876-1937), and Helyonne (1879-1955). The painting shows the translucent colours typical of Renoir's mature style.
