An 1893 oil on canvas, Regatta at Argenteuil, by Gustave Caillebotte (1848-96) the French impressionist painter. The artist was a keen sailor, funding yacht clubs, owning his own yacht, and designing and building various kinds of boats himself. (Private Collection)
