An 1891 colour print, Woman Bathing, by Mary Cassatt (1844-1926), the American impressionist painter. Cassatt, along with several other impressionists, took a keen interest in colour printing. This work is a combination of drypoint, soft-ground etching, and aquatint. (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York)
