A c. 1871 oil on canvas, Early Snow at Louveciennes, by Alfred Sisley (1839-1899), the Franco-British impressionist painter. Sisley worked with Camille Pissarro (1830-1903) at Louveciennes near Paris, and the influence on Sisley is clear in the composition of this landscape. (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston)
