The Amphiareion of Oropos is located in the hills 6 km (3.73 miles) southeast of the fortified town of Oropos in Attica, Greece. It was a sanctuary built during the late 5th century BCE, and was dedicated to the hero Amphiaraos. Pilgrims visited the sanctuary to receive the oracles' guidance and healing.
