Château de Valençay, Valençay, Indre, France. Built over three centuries, the château combines several architectural styles which make it one of the most prestigious buildings in the Loire Valley. It already had a long history when Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord acquired it in 1803. Since 2005, it has been the property of a joint syndicate involving the Département de l'Indre and the town of Valençay.
