The USS West Virginia, Pearl Harbor, 1941 Download Full Size Image

The USS West Virginia was one of seven ships that made up Battleship Row during the Battle of Pearl Harbor in December 1941. Here it can be seen ablaze after being hit by seven torpedoes and two bombs. It sank, and was later returned to service in 1944.
