A November 1938 photograph showing Jews under mass arrest in Baden-Baden, Germany. The Nazis orchestrated Kristallnacht (‘Night of Broken Glass’), an attack on Jews and Jewish property across Germany and Austria on 9-10 November, 1938, and followed this up with mass arrests of Jews for deportation via concentration camps.
