Nazi Beer Hall Putsch Medal Download Full Size Image

The Nazi medal which commemorated the Beer Hall Putsch of November 1923, a failed coup d'etat led by Adolf Hitler (1889-1945). The medal, called the Blutorden or ‘Blood Order’, was awarded to those who had participated in the putsch. (German Federal Archives)
