Chief Little Raven (Hosa, l. c. 1810-1889) of the Southern Arapaho. Little Raven was among the 'peace chiefs' who, with Chief Black Coal (l. c. 1840-1893) of the Northern Arapaho, tried to maintain peaceful relations with the US government and White settlers. Photographed by William S. Soule at some point between 1868-1874.
