Sobekhotep , the scribe of a wine-cellar, appears three times with his wife. In the mirroring scenes at the top, they worship the gods of Osiris (left in the form of a mummy) and Anubis (right, Jackal-headed). In the next scene, they are joined by a daughter on a tiny stool, receiving offerings presented by their four sons. More sons and daughters appear in the bottom scene. 18th Dynasty, reign of Amenhotep III, 1390-1352 BCE. From Abydos, Egypt. (The British Museum, London).
