Athena is draped in a sleeveless Doric peplos with an apoptygma (folding over at the top), and attached on her shoulder and girdled above her waist. Her bust is too small for her arms and legs. She wears a round helmet. Marble. Roman Period, a copy of an original from the 5th century BCE. From Leptis Magna, in modern-day Libya. (Museum of Archaeology, Istanbul, Turkey).
