This map shows (a selection of) Palaeolithic sites across a very wide time span as well as geographical range, connected in one way or another with the genus of Homo, including Neanderthals and Denisovans. Cave icons mark caves or rock shelter sites, whereas the three-dots icon refers to open-air sites... as far as we can tell.
