Biography
I graduated with my B.A. in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College in 2020, before I became a History and Latin teacher for grades 6-12. I taught ancient and medieval world history classes, and I created and designed the Latin program and curriculum from scratch. Working as a teacher was my first introduction to the World History Encyclopedia, from which I regularly used articles and lesson plans in my classes. After two years of teaching I decided to go back to graduate school, where I am now a doctoral student at the University of British Columbia in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology, specializing in Roman archaeology. My primary focus is on using archaeology to understand more of the lived experiences of people in the past, which I hope to then translate to classes I teach in the future.
