Biography
I studied American History at Ohio University. As part of my undergraduate research, I wrote about the role of logistics in the American Civil War. After graduating, I continued my education at Ohio University and studied education. I became an American History teacher in Ohio and also coached football, wrestling, and track and field. While teaching American History, I furthered my education at Kent State University by taking graduate-level history courses that allows me to teach college level coursework. During that research I became interested in the transformation of the Democratic and Republican political parties during and after the American Civil War. I also have my own independent research project, a biography about my grandfather's ancestors, his childhood during the 1940s, his college experiences, his military experiences, his family, his civic life, and his contributions to NASA projects as an inventor and engineer.
