Georgia McDonnell

Biography

I became obsessed with history whilst travelling and living abroad. I grew up in Australia, Singapore, and England; experienced different cultures and visited amazing archaeological sites. On my travels, I fell in love with the Palace of Knossos which sparked a passion for the Bronze Age Aegean.

My interests include anything to do with ancient Greece, Egypt, or Rome. I am also fascinated by the Borgias (who doesn't love a Renaissance scandal?), Cleopatra (I asp-ire to be like her), and La Belle Époque (think Paris during the birth of the can-can).

I studied Law at King's College London where I gained an insight into the social, economic, and political factors which shape us as a society.
