Biography
Jonathan Homrighausen is a graduate student in Biblical Studies, Islamic Studies, and Jewish Studies at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. His main focus is in conversations between Abrahamic scriptures, both ancient and modern. Previously, he earned a BA in Classics and Religious Studies at Santa Clara University, where he wrote a thesis on Heraklean iconography in the ancient Buddhist art of Gandhara, later published in The Silk Road. His passion for ancient scriptures stems from a desire to bring those texts and their contexts into dialogue today.
His work can be found in Buddhist-Christian Studies, The Silk Road, Religion Dispatches, Sacred Matters, and at his personal blog at jdhomie.com.
