Biography
Teresa Fava Thomas enjoys reading about history and especially traveling in Italy. As an historian and university professor she has taught courses in World Civilizations and Modern Italian History at Fitchburg State University. She received FSU's Faculty Award for Research and Scholarship in 2017. Her research and writing projects are focused on the impact of the Second World War on Italy. Her current research is centered around Rome and earlier work focused on Venice and the Veneto region. Her most recent publication is The Allied Bombing of Central Italy: The Restoration of the Nile Mosaic and Sanctuary of Fortuna at Palestrina.
