This image focuses on the ceremonial bed in the middle, one out of three found in the first antechamber. It depicts the Celestial Cow (Carter no. 73). Stacked up beneath it are 48 white wooden boxes (Carter no. 62) in which discoverer Howard Carter found dried provisions for Tutankhamun’s journey into the afterlife. Above and below the cow bed, one can see chairs, crates, and another bed hurriedly tossed about (Carter no. 80).
