WORLD CREATION.
Cheyenne tribe legend.
When the creator, Heammawihio, made the man, he formed him from a rib taken from his own right side; and then from
the left side of the man he took a rib, from which he created the woman.
——————————
Traditional Cheyenne tribe religion focused upon two principal deities, the Wise One Above and a god who lived beneath the ground. In addition, four spirits lived at the points of the compass.
