Biography
Illustrator and founder of Civrali Studio.
A graduate of Istanbul University's Department of Radio, Television and Cinema (2012), he earned his Master’s degree in Political Science from Yıldız Technical University in 2019.
His thesis examined the rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union in sport and propaganda through the lens of Carl von Clausewitz’s culminating point theory. His work mainly focuses on military history, experimental archaeology, and the politics of sport.
He is the creator of the Rebuilding Hardrada documentary project, an ongoing work that explores the transformation of naval knowledge and shipbuilding practices through the experience of Harald Hardrada.
